Today’s ride was from Chester to Wallasey via the Wirral Country Park, a total of 61.05km.  We really seem to be making bigger distances now. Are we stronger? Fitter? More committed? Or just boosted by some nice weather. I wonder if the tiredness will start to show soon as we’ve done three 60km days on the trot now, so almost 200km in half a week. That’s getting on for what we used to do before we had kids.

Berry picking Wirral Country Park. Energy for the ride

Some nice moments today, riding up through the country park, picking blackberries, cycling along the coast. And all the time having something to aim for, an evening at Granny’s. Although the puncture late in the day didn’t do much to help our arrival.
