Today’s ride was from Wem to Chester via Whitchurch, a total of 60.21km.  We made it to historic Chester although there wasn’t much time for cycling in Chester. Arriving here also means we’ve finally reached England’s North West. Which means we’re getting closer and closer to home. Which means the question of whether we will continue or just flop into bed and give up gets closer and closer too.

Chester is a beautiful city. Shame we don’t have much time to stop and explore beyond riding through the city gates and shopping centre and getting in everyone’s way. But maybe we can come cycling in Chester some other time.
