Drinking a glass of wine
As we head towards the Pyrenees and the proper start to our pilgrimage on the Camino, Stuart seems to be preparing for the next phase of his inner journey with some meditation on the price of coffee in France compared to Spain. It’s an obsession which I hope will pass as we move back into Spain and leave France behind us.
Meanwhile I prefer to focus on worrying about the outer journey, worrying about the approaching storms while doing my best to enjoy a tortilla sandwich and a glass of wine. The wine certainly helps, although that does seem to be more expensive in France than in Spain too.
