Need for speed

Stuart Profile SmallHave you ever played that computer game ‘Need for Speed’?

Well today was a cross between the scenes in the Pyrenees and Cote d’Azur. Without the speed of course. Not travelling like this. Cameron may look like a powerpack but in reality he’s more of a happy and entertaining passenger.

Still we’ve made Karautz in a journey involving 40km and 403m climb. As usual we’ve done 160km to get 100km from Bilbao. At some point we will need some speed if we are to make Santiago. And we’ll need to start heading the other way for we’re still heading east and Santiago is most definitely in the West.

  • hi Guys,

Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint. I seem to remember you falling behind schedule last year…
Keep up the posts, they make for great lunchtime reading.
    All the best,
